Norwegian work culture is very different from the work culture in most other countries in terms of lack of hierarchy, independent work, trust, and self-accountability. Cross-cultural communication with Norwegians may be very challenging, because of the lack of clear task descriptions, specifications, expectations, mandate, follow-up and feedback.

IFC and MIGA representatives will showcase their activities in Ukraine’s recovery and how Norwegian and Ukrainian partnerships can use their financial mechanisms to unlock vital competence, technology and capital. Companies that have already accessed the IFC and MIGA toolkits will present case studies and examples. This seminar aims to provide an update on private-sector investment opportunities and challenges in Ukraine and to explore the toolkit of the World Bank Group.
