The Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) works with the Norwegian fisheries and aquaculture industry to develop markets and ensure market access for Norwegian seafood. NSC's main objective is to identify opportunities for Norwegian seafood products in both new and established markets. Their head office is in Tromsø, with local representatives in Europe, Asia, Brazil and the US.

The Norwegian Seafood Federation promote policies and legislation that benefit its members in export, trade and international matters. In addition, the federation advise member companies on a wide range of issues, such as: health, environment, food safety, trade regulations, legal matters, research and development. It is a membership organization representing the interests of approximately 680 companies through their five offices located close to seafood hubs along the Norwegian coast. Their members cover the entire value chain from sea to dinner table in both the fisheries and aquaculture sector of Norway.
