Four years after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, daily life for many children, families, and vulnerable groups continues to be marked by war, displacement, and uncertainty. For many, psychological strain has become a long-term reality.
The seminar brings together humanitarian actors, public institutions and representatives from the business sector. Both Norad and SOS-barnebyer have invited Norwegian companies that support Ukraine financially or operate in the country.
Since the beginning of the war, SOS-barnebyer has received approximately NOK 90 million from Norwegian businesses, organisations and foundations to support its work in Ukraine — including contributions from companies such as Yara, OBOS, Heimstaden and the Grieg Foundation. In addition, substantial funding has been provided by Norad through the Nansen Programme.
Speakers include:
- Sissel Aarak, Secretary General, SOS-barnebyer
- Jorun Nossum, Director of the Nansen Programme, Norad
- Representatives from SOS-barnebyer and Caritas in Ukraine, sharing field-based experience
- Markus Grieg, Board Member, Grieg Foundation
