EFIF aims to establish an international chain of energy farm centers worldwide. These energy farm centers will produce and use renewable energy with an emphasis on modern solar- and bioenergy technology. In 2015 EFIF established an energy farm center in Borshchiv, Tenopil region in Ukraine. Despite its modest scale, the center has become a leading knowledge center and a key gathering place for training and information on the practical use of bioenergy in the region.
