Join NUCC’s Ukraine Project – Advisor / Senior Advisor in Energy, Security, and Critical Infrastructure (100% Project Position)

The Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC) is looking for an enthusiastic Advisor / Senior Advisor to join our Ukraine project. In this role, you will play a key part in leading and developing projects focused on energy, security, and critical infrastructure.

NUCC actively supports its members in strengthening trade between Norway and Ukraine. We regularly organize delegation trips, courses, and conferences to assist both Norwegian and Ukrainian members.

This is a project position for the duration of the project, running through 2027, with the possibility of extension. NUCC’s three-year project is supported by NORAD, and given the current prioritization of support for Ukraine by Norwegian authorities, the likelihood of extension is high.

About the Project
The project focuses on areas such as energy cooperation and infrastructure, increased trade in agricultural products and Ukrainian seafood, ICT nearshoring, production, and reconstruction. NUCC especially supports small and medium-sized Ukrainian enterprises and runs programs for entrepreneurs and start-ups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead current and upcoming projects, independently and in collaboration with colleagues and partners
  • Build and maintain networks with businesses, authorities, and partners
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute activities and events
  • Analyze data and prepare reports
  • Monitor and report on project developments and outcomes

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, law, social sciences, or other relevant fields
  • Have experience with Eastern Europe, preferably Ukraine
  • Are familiar with Norwegian businesses and the Norwegian market
  • Have experience in energy, security, defense, or dual-use products (an advantage)
  • Are fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken; Ukrainian language skills are a plus
  • Are results-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
