NUCC participated in the IT Ukraine Association event on Entering the Nordic Market

On 4 June 2026, the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC) participated in the offline event "Let IT be: How Scandinavia Really Works", organised by the IT Ukraine Association for Ukrainian IT and technology companies interested in expanding to the Nordic region.

During the event, Natalia Babanina, NUCC Project Manager, delivered a presentation on the Norwegian technology ecosystem, key digitalisation trends, and practical approaches to entering the Norwegian market.

The presentation briefly explored Norway's Digital Strategy 2030, emerging opportunities in AI, cybersecurity, energy technologies, digital healthcare, GovTech, and maritime industries, as well as the changing expectations of Norwegian clients and partners. Participants received practical insights into how business relationships are built in Norway, the importance of trust and industry expertise, and the role of professional networks and ecosystems in successful market entry.

The session also highlighted key organisations, platforms, and technology events that can help Ukrainian companies establish connections in Norway and the wider Nordic region. Particular attention was given to the shift from traditional outsourcing models towards specialised, value-driven partnerships focused on solving industry-specific challenges.

The event provided participants with both market insights and practical business perspectives. Alongside experts from Nordic business organisations, representatives of Ukrainian IT companies shared their experience of entering and operating in the Nordic markets, discussing practical challenges, lessons learned, and successful approaches to building long-term relationships with clients and partners across the region.

The event brought together Ukrainian IT and technology companies interested in exploring opportunities in the Nordic region and gaining a better understanding of local business practices, market expectations, and partnership opportunities.
