Trigonor and Fix Union - A business partnership that creates value beyond the products

The Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC) is pleased to see another successful business partnership established between Norway and Ukraine. Through NUCC's facilitation, Norwegian company Trigonor has entered into cooperation with Fix Union, a Ukrainian manufacturer of urban furniture based near Lviv.

The partnership demonstrates how commercial cooperation can deliver high-quality products while simultaneously strengthening Ukraine's economy and preserving skilled jobs during wartime.

Quality products made under extraordinary circumstances

Fix Union designs and manufactures outdoor furniture and urban equipment, including benches, planters, bicycle racks, pergolas, and other solutions for public spaces. Despite operating far from the front line, the company continues production under challenging conditions created by Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Like many Ukrainian manufacturers, Fix Union faces significant challenges, including workforce shortages due to mobilization and migration, unstable electricity supply, and unpredictable logistics.

To maintain reliable production, the company has adapted its operations by increasing inventory levels, improving customer communication, and investing in backup infrastructure such as generators that ensure production can continue during power outages.

"Over the past few years, we have adapted our operations to become more resilient and better prepared for unexpected disruptions," says Oksana Straz, Development Director at Fix Union.

Business cooperation that supports Ukraine's recovery

For Fix Union, international customers represent far more than export opportunities. Stable partnerships help maintain production capacity, preserve employment, and ensure that Ukrainian manufacturers will be ready to contribute to the country's reconstruction once peace returns.

The company believes that well-designed public spaces are essential for creating communities where people can meet, recover, and enjoy everyday life—something that has become even more important during the war.

Maintaining businesses like Fix Union today also means preserving the engineers, designers, craftsmen, and manufacturing expertise that Ukraine will depend on during future reconstruction.

A partnership built on quality

For Trigonor, the decision to work with Fix Union is based first and foremost on the quality of the products.

The company's urban furniture is designed to withstand demanding Nordic weather conditions and can be customized to meet specific customer requirements, including colour schemes and universal design.

At the same time, the partnership contributes to sustaining employment and economic activity in western Ukraine.

"For us at Trigonor, it means a great deal to contribute to keeping people in Lviv employed. This generates tax revenue, supports local communities, and secures jobs throughout the value chain. At the same time, Fix Union delivers outstanding products," says Lars Eriksen, Procurement Manager at Trigonor.

Facilitating long-term business partnerships

At NUCC, we believe that sustainable business partnerships are among the strongest contributions Norwegian companies can make to Ukraine. Commercial cooperation creates long-term value by strengthening businesses, supporting local communities, and laying the foundation for future reconstruction.

The partnership between Trigonor and Fix Union is an excellent example of how Norwegian and Ukrainian companies can build resilient, mutually beneficial relationships based on quality, professionalism, and shared values.

We congratulate both companies on this successful cooperation and look forward to supporting many more partnerships that strengthen business ties between Norway and Ukraine.
