Norway Desk Lviv officially launched 🇳🇴🇺🇦

On 8 September, Norway Desk was officially launched, marking an important next step in Norwegian-Ukrainian business cooperation.

Norway Desk supports Norwegian companies interested in doing business, investing or developing projects in Lviv. It provides a direct local point of contact and helps companies navigate the market. This includes finding relevant partners and opportunities and connecting with local authorities and stakeholders. The aim is to make it easier for companies to move from initial interest to concrete partnerships and projects.

In June, Lviv City Council and Innovation Norway signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. Norway Desk builds on this agreement and is designed to make it easier for Norwegian companies to find their way into the Ukrainian market.

At the launch, Lviv City Council and Innovation Norway presented the Norway Desk. Serhiy Kiral, Deputy Mayor of Lviv, and Andriy Moskalenko, First Deputy Mayor of Lviv, welcomed the participants. They highlighted the importance of cooperation between Lviv and Norway and the role of Norway Desk in supporting Norwegian companies.

The programme also included a seminar on reconstruction and financing opportunities. NEFCO presented its project portfolio and financing opportunities in Ukraine. UNDP presented its programmes and opportunities for cooperation.

For NUCC, the focus is on bringing these elements together: local entry points, Norwegian and Ukrainian expertise, and available financing. This can help turn dialogue into concrete partnerships and projects.

Now is the time to engage.

🇳🇴🤝🇺🇦 From agreement to action.
