Norwegian Student Launches Global Tech Product Developed in Ukraine

Greenmission AS, an Oslo-based technology company founded by 21-year-old entrepreneur Vetle Husby, has launched its new automotive product, the Ctrl Platform, internationally on Kickstarter. The solution has been developed in close collaboration with the company’s engineering team in Ukraine, showcasing how Norwegian–Ukrainian cooperation creates global innovation.

The Ctrl Platform gives Tesla drivers physical control buttons for core vehicle functions, addressing safety concerns related to touchscreen-only interfaces. The firmware and software are developed in Lviv, while hardware is engineered in the USA and production is carried out through global partners.

“Ukraine is fighting for its very existence, but it also represents a major resource for tech innovation in Europe. I’ve worked with developers from all over the world, and the Ukrainian team is the best I’ve ever worked with,”
says founder and CEO Vetle Husby.

If the Kickstarter campaign succeeds, Greenmission plans to expand its Ukrainian team, strengthening Norwegian-Ukrainian cooperation in the technology sector.
